We have seen ads built into games for many years now, like ads for Coca Cola on bilboards with car racing games have been common. But now things are changing and its all about behavior and personalization, so why not ads behave like that. Some companies are talking about bringing these types of in game ads in your video games. Google is working on such technology and I sure others are too, I was waiting for these types on in game and TV ads customized based on your behavior and choice of TV channels.
People provide so much information back to the system when they are flipping channels or playing games, so why not use that information to sell ads related to what they are looking for. Is it taking away your privacy, I don't know because if you have a Gmail account you have already signed away your privacy so what is the big deal.
